Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026. HeyVetto is in an early public test. This page says in plain words what we store and how to get it removed.
What HeyVetto stores
When you use HeyVetto, the app keeps:
- The photos of veterinary documents you take, and the text HeyVetto reads out of them (dates, doses, lab values, notes).
- Your pet's name and basic details you enter.
- If you sign in with Google: your email address and Google account ID, used only to sign you in and back up your records.
- If you share a pet with a co-parent: the link between your two accounts.
Without an account, everything stays only on your own phone. With an account, records and photos are backed up to our database and file storage, hosted by Supabase. Access rules on the server mean only you — and a co-parent you have invited — can see your records.
How photos are read
To turn a photo into text, HeyVetto sends the photo to an AI reading service (OpenAI) and stores the result with your record. The photo is used only for reading and is not used to train AI models.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't use cookies, and we don't show ads.
- We don't send you emails except replies to your own messages.
Anonymous usage counts
To see what needs improving, the app counts anonymous usage events — "a sheet was photographed", "a reading finished" — through Amplitude, on its European servers, tied to a random identifier. Your name, your email, and your pet's records and photos are never part of these counts.
Taking your data with you
On the app's Account screen, Download my data saves everything — your records, readings and photos — as one ZIP file you keep.
Deleting your data
You can delete any record inside the app at any time; a deleted record is removed for you and any co-parent. To delete your whole account and everything backed up with it, open the Account screen and tap Delete account — everything is removed immediately and permanently. If you can no longer open the app, email us at boychenko99alex@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and we will remove it within 30 days and confirm.

Terms of use
Last updated: 3 August 2026. HeyVetto is in an early public test — these terms are short on purpose.
What HeyVetto is
HeyVetto photographs veterinary documents, reads them into searchable text, and keeps the original photo beside it. During the test period all of it is free.
What HeyVetto is not
HeyVetto is a filing tool, not veterinary advice. The AI reading can make mistakes — always check the original photo before acting on a dose, a date or a lab value, and ask your vet when in doubt. Decisions about your pet's health are yours and your vet's.
The test period
- The service is provided as-is; things may occasionally break or change while we test.
- We do our best to keep backups safe, but during the test please keep your original paper documents.
- If we ever introduce paid plans, nothing you have already filed will be taken away or made unreadable.
Fair use
Please only upload documents about your own pets, and don't attempt to disrupt the service or access other people's records. We may close accounts that abuse the service.
Your data
What we store and how to get it deleted is described in the privacy policy above. Your records remain yours.
